Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the VidTrace app ("VidTrace", "the app"), made by Sports Stats Limited ("we", "us"). By downloading or using VidTrace you agree to them. They apply alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which covers every app on the App Store.

What VidTrace does

VidTrace helps coaches find, sort, tag and annotate training videos stored on their iPhone. It works with videos in your Photos library and keeps what you create on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions and free trials

• VidTrace requires an active subscription. You can choose a monthly or a yearly plan. Current prices are shown in the app before you subscribe and may vary by country.
• New subscribers may be offered a free trial. Its length is shown before you start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you're charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of a free trial.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iPhone, or from More › Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your content

Your videos, athlete information and notes belong to you. We don't claim any rights to them, and we never receive a copy.

You're responsible for the content you record, keep and share with VidTrace. In particular, you agree to:

• only film and store footage of people who have agreed to it, with consent from a parent or guardian for anyone under 18;
• follow the safeguarding and data protection rules of your club, school or organisation;
• only share clips with people who should see them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use VidTrace to break the law, to harass or harm anyone, or to record or share content without the permission of the people in it. You also agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it.

Keeping your data safe

Your data is stored only on your device, so we can't back it up or recover it for you. We recommend keeping regular iPhone backups. Deleting the app deletes its data from your device.

Changes to the app

We're always improving VidTrace, so features may change over time. We may also need to stop offering the app. If we do, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.

Our responsibility to you

We work hard to make VidTrace reliable, but it's provided "as is" and we can't promise it will always be error-free or available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for loss of data or for any indirect loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page with a new date. If you keep using VidTrace after a change, the updated terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
